FIGHTSTAR frontman CHARLIE SIMPSON has convinced his fellow bandmembers to get matching tattoos to cement their commitment to each other.

The 20-year-old former BUSTED star and his new rock outfit, featuring DAN HAIGH, ALEX WESTAWAY and OMAR ABIDI, have yet to decide on the final design of the tattoo, which will signify their musical bond.

A band insider says, "Charlie has been telling people that he, Dan, Al and Omar are getting Fightstar tattoos in the very near future.

"Although they haven't agreed on a final design yet they are liking the idea of getting F and S tattooed on their wrists.

"It really says a lot about where Charlie's head is at the moment and how seriously he takes his new band."
